For more than 20 years the process viscometer Covimat 105 is employed world wide. It works 24 hours on 365 days a year and gives a signal analog to viscosity which can be used for any process control.

There's a large viarity:
Please answer the questions below and you'll be directed to the corresponding type of instrument:
You want to measure viscosity in an open vessel without pressure? -> Covimat TO
You are working under hygienic conditions (nutricion, cosmetics, pharmceuticals etc.) ? -> Covimat CC
You are measuring water-based colours or coatings? -> Covimat DD+
Your samples are watery or thin-bodied? -> Covimat DD
If you answered 'no' to every question above, choose Covimat DC.

Covimat
The process Viscometer Covimat measures the viscosity of your product directly in production process. Covimat is a classic rotational viscometer which means, a measuring bob rotates in the sample that is to be measured. The breaking effect that the sample is applying on the rotating measuring bob, is a direct measure of the viscosity.
The number of varyties is large but all the instruments have in common that the measured values can be compared with those that are measured with laboratory viscometers. In addition the influencing effects of pressure, temperature etc. are recorded as well and thus the actual viscosity during production is determined.
